Joseph Phelps Vertical and Bountiful Table Experience

A multi-course “Bountiful Table” lunch at Joseph Phelps Winery for up to eight (8) guests

Founded in 1973 by Joseph Phelps, his namesake winery made a major contribution to California wine in many areas—most importantly with the creation of the proprietary blend called Insignia. Originally conceived by Phelps as a cuvée that would reflect the finest wine he could make from each particular vintage, Insignia eventually evolved into a Cabernet-dominated, Bordeaux-style blend that became one of the legends of the Napa Valley. The Phelps winery is still family-owned today and turns out a range of wines starting with sparkling and Pinot Noir and progressing to profound, vineyard-designated Cabernet Sauvignon.

The winning bidder’s party of eight will experience that range during the Bountiful Table experience, an unforgettable pairing of seasonal ingredients with the best wines Phelps has to offer. The winning bidder will also add a vertical of Insignia magnums to his or her cellar, from the highly rated vintages of 2013 through 2018, which can be enjoyed for decades to come.

INSIDER’S INFO: Tasting and lunch to be scheduled on a mutually agreeable date. The certificate is valid until December 31, 2022, with blackout dates of major holidays and May 6-8, 2022. Major holidays include New Year's Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Wine will be shipped to the winning bidder directly from Joseph Phelps Winery. Airfare, accommodations, ground transportation or any incidental purchases are not included.
